May 5 is SAVE LIVES: Clean Your Hands Day, a very significant day for the World Health Organization and those in the hand hygiene industry, but not well recognized or celebrated by the healthcare industry as a whole or consumers. On a cluttered consumer news day and amidst many priorities in the hospital environment, DebMed needed to stand out and gain notoriety for better hand hygiene solutions that save lives.

What better way to stand out than with fun facts, big bright green hands and a large group presence? With a guerilla marketing approach, the KNB team organized a large group that swarmed the Today Show and Good Morning America crowds for consumer awareness and spread the important message. We also partnered with industry luminaries and noted physicians with media presence to further spread the word and encourage visits to the website www.cleanhandsforhealth.com.
