Increasing Exposure Through Conference Creation And Partnerships

Roadmap

Having just launched a new clinical reference product, Elsevier wanted to increase exposure and awareness of it by leveraging the company’s thought leadership around the business case for evidence-based medicine (EBM) as a central necessity to enhancing the American healthcare system. The company sought to develop a platform that created opportunity to initiate thoughtful industry dialogue and presentation of use cases around EBM.

Integrated Activation

After assessing the current marketplace, KNB realized the need for an event dedicated to offering this type of education, dialogue and networking. Designed to foster innovation and improve healthcare performance, the Healthcare Leadership Forum was a dedicated, three-day symposium for physician and clinical leaders, C-suite executives, researchers and opinion leaders to share knowledge, information and best practices related to evidence-based medicine. Elsevier partnered with a well-known media group to help drive awareness of the event and build out specific tracks dedicated to current industry trends and research.

Track & Act

In its third year, the Healthcare Leadership Forum has been regarded as “one of the most informative conferences I’ve attended this year,” according to many of its C-Suite attendees. This year, the program expanded to include multidisciplinary evidence-based practice, thus highlighting presenters including physicians, healthcare executives and nurse leaders. Additionally, the event has driver development of EBM-focused thought leadership content that KNB has been able to utilize and capitalize on throughout the year.
