This month we would like to highlight our PR Account Director, Kimberley Sirk. Here are a few questions we asked her below: 

Kimberley Sirk PR Account Director

Why did you become a healthcare marketing and PR professional?

I entered this field because it’s exciting to talk to brilliant, passionate people who care about helping individuals achieve their best health. It makes my job easy to translate that enormous passion into messages that help them achieve their organizational goals.

What do you like most about the KNB culture?

Everyone works hard, yet is generous with their time and creativity. We seem to enjoy solving problems together!

How does working in the healthcare and health tech industry excite you the most?

I meet so many interesting people who are at the intersection of empathy and technology. It’s like I get to play a tiny role in making big dreams reality, and helping advance medicine humanely.

How do you measure your own success?

I keep lists. Checking off items on the list keeps me on track, and gives me a sense of accomplishment at the end of each day or week.

How will the pandemic change the future of healthcare?

I think we now know it’s okay to use telehealth and healthcare technology more. The adoption of many technologies has been accelerated and I don’t think that will stop. I think patients and providers now have a better comfort level, and realize how much money and time can be saved by continuing to use telemedicine and new technologies. 

What kind of TV shows do you enjoy? What shows are you currently watching? 

I am a big fan of “The Office” but usually only watch what’s on Netflix.
