We are KNB Communications, an award-winning PR and marketing agency on a fast-paced journey, growing and leading healthcare communications. Our experts are renowned for moving minds and driving a better healthcare ecosystem for all. We’re looking for a dynamic Account Supervisor to join our team.
As Account Supervisor, you are the principal contact between the agency and the client and have responsibility for ensuring all deliverables. This team member works cross-functionally to develop and execute communications, marketing, and PR strategies and tactics that help our clients reach their goals.
If you have PR experience and are a strong project manager who can prioritize, organize, delegate, communicate, and even herd cats, we’ll get along really well.
KNB Communications is 100% remote. You can work from anywhere if you have dependable internet and are willing to keep central or east coast hours.
Roles + responsibilities
As the Account Supervisor you will:
Client management + communication

Own the success of the accounts you manage, ensuring deliverables, creating strategic direction, and meeting client’s goals and expectations.

Cultivate strong relationships with clients, industry leaders, freelancers, KNB vendors, and other stakeholders.

Demonstrate enthusiasm in client communications

Offer new ideas and initiatives to the team

Run biweekly and ad hoc client meetings
-
Own project trackers and update them weekly
-
Onboard new clients
-
Create timelines and project trackers for new accounts
Client service delivery

Direct account support (PR, marketing, freelancers, etc.) to secure deliverables
-
Set and influence strategy
-
Set KPIs for accounts and communicate the status
-
Ensure scopes of work are on track and on time
KNB operations
-
Maintain an average 70%-80% contribution margin (retainer vs. expenses) per account.

Look for opportunities to upsell
-
Report account standing and deliverable status to clients
-
Project and update freelancer hours
-
Track account expenses and update invoice sheet
-
Assist with new business research, proposal writing, and presentations as needed.

Must-haves
-
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a public relations or communications field
-
5+ years of PR / communications management
-
3+ years of project management experience
-
Ability to maintain and foster relationships with clients and team members
-
Deadline-driven nature and understand how to prioritize and adapt under pressure

Knowledge of best practices in the marketing, communications, media, and PR space
-
Strategic planner and effective implementer
Collaborative, creative, and cool
Nice to have

Experience working in healthcare, health tech, pharma, + / or life sciences

Agency experience
-
Experience with software such as Muck Rack, Meltwater, Cision, PR Newswire, SEM Rush, and HubSpot
-
Understanding of regulatory and compliance challenges for drug commercialization
