KNB Communications is 100% remote. You can work from anywhere as long as you have dependable internet and are willing to keep central or east coast hours.

Roles + responsibilities

As the Digital Marketing + Webpage Content Writer you will:

Digital marketing:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies across various channels (SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, etc.)

  • Conduct keyword research and optimize website content for search engines

  • Manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, social media ads)

  • Analyze campaign performance and provide insights for optimization

  • Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends and industry best practices

Webpage content writing:

  • Create engaging and informative website content, including landing pages, product descriptions, blog posts, and articles

  • Develop compelling calls-to-action and optimize content for conversions

  • Ensure content aligns with brand voice and messaging

  • Collaborate with design team to create visually appealing and user-friendly web pages

  • Edit and proofread content for accuracy and clarity

  • Client projects may include Saas platforms, medical devices, data and analytics firms, life sciences technologies, and pharmaceutical-adjacent technologies.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field

  • 5+ years of experience writing and editing in healthcare, life sciences, technology, or other relevant fields. 

  • Proven experience in digital marketing and content writing

  • Strong understanding of SEO and SEM best practices

  • Excellent writing and editing skills

  • Proficiency in content management systems (CMS)

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to measure campaign performance

  • Experience with social media platforms and analytics tools

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

We understand no candidate checks every single box. That’s why we’ve divided our experience requirements  list into “must-haves” and “nice to have.”

 

Must-have:

  • Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization

  • Experience writing for healthcare vendors, payors, providers, life sciences, and / or pharmaceutical companies.

  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic web development

  • Experience with email marketing platforms
    Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools

  • Excellent writing and editing skills
    Proficient in Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Microsoft Office Suite.

 

Nice to have:

  • Healthcare industry knowledge and/or previous roles with a healthcare-focused organization

  • Websites management and page creation

  • Basic HTML or equivalent web language

  • Video creation, editing, and production

  • Managed or supported Twitter chats

  • Muck Rack / Cision/Meltwater media monitoring software

  • Sprout social media management software

  • PR industry background

  • HubSpot certifications – Inbound, Email, Content

  • Google Analytics and Google Ads certifications
