Job description

We’re looking for a Digital Ads Manager with a strong track record of building and optimizing paid campaigns specifically in the life sciences and healthcare innovation space. This person will manage SEM, paid social, display, and programmatic ad efforts for clients with complex B2B offerings—from AI-powered diagnostics to clinical trial software, genomic platforms, and biotech pipelines.

This role blends data-driven performance strategy with life sciences fluency. If you know your way around both Google Ads and PCR workflows, we want to hear from you.

Roles + responsibilities

As the Life Sciences Digital Ads Manager, you will:

Campaign strategy + execution

  • Plan, build, and manage paid media campaigns across Google Ads, LinkedIn, X / Twitter, programmatic platforms, and other digital channels
  • Develop performance strategies aligned to B2B life sciences buyer journeys, including biotech investors, diagnostic lab managers, R+D directors, and clinical affairs leaders
  • Research keywords and design targeting strategies for complex, regulated offerings (e.g., companion diagnostics, digital biomarkers, AI / ML in drug discovery)
  • Create and test copy that reflects scientific credibility and regulatory nuance while still driving engagement
Optimization + reporting
  • Monitor and optimize campaigns based on KPIs like CTR, CPL, ROAS, and MQL quality
  • Build dashboards and reports that translate performance into actionable insights for clients in biotech, pharma, and medtech
  • Run A / B tests on creative, landing pages, and ad formats to improve quality scores and reduce CPA
  • Align ad efforts with SEO strategy to maximize visibility across search and AI surfaces (GEO / AEO)

Client + cross-functional collaboration

  • Partner with strategists, designers, and account managers to ensure campaign alignment with messaging, goals, and timelines
  • Translate life sciences jargon into copy that performs on digital platforms while preserving accuracy
  • Collaborate with compliance / legal teams when needed to ensure ad content meets regulatory expectations for health and science industries

Must-have qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in digital advertising with proven results in B2B demand generation
  • At least 2 years managing campaigns for life sciences clients (biotech, diagnostics, CROs, pharma, or related sectors)
  • Proficiency with Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Looker Studio, HubSpot, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of funnel strategies for complex scientific products and services
  • Data-driven mindset with experience managing budgets, optimizing CPL / CPA, and achieving ROI targets

Nice-to-have qualifications

  • Familiarity with healthcare / life sciences buyer personas (e.g., principal investigators, procurement leads, life science marketers, clinical operations teams)
  • Experience marketing solutions like clinical trial platforms, RWD/RWE tools, genomics software, lab automation, or molecular diagnostics
  • Understanding of GEO / AEO (Generative / Answer Engine Optimization) and how paid + organic search strategy intersects in LLM-driven environments
  • Agency experience with multiple client accounts
