Job description

We are seeking a marketing manager who brings a clear understanding of the life sciences space and an ability to manage multifaceted marketing programs. This is a client-facing role focused on strategy, execution, and cross-functional coordination.

You will work alongside our PR, creative, digital, and leadership teams to manage integrated marketing programs for clients across the life sciences ecosystem. From developing brand strategies and content calendars to leading the rollout of new messaging, videos, websites, and campaigns, this role is critical in ensuring exceptional delivery and lasting client impact.

Roles + responsibilities

As the Life Sciences Marketing Manager, you will:

Client leadership + strategy

  • Serve as day-to-day lead for assigned life sciences clients, ensuring clear communication, satisfaction, and strategic alignment

  • Build and manage integrated marketing strategies that align with business goals in areas such as brand awareness, product launches, thought leadership, or market penetration

  • Understand complex scientific and regulatory topics and translate them into clear messaging and campaign themes

  • Lead marketing planning, including budgets, timelines, KPIs, and content calendars

Project + service delivery

  • Coordinate cross-functional delivery of services including branding, messaging, content development, media outreach, market research, and digital campaigns
  • Oversee development of assets such as websites, social media content, videos, eBooks, emails, sales materials, and event collateral
  • Collaborate with writers, designers, developers, and media teams to keep projects moving and deliverables on-brand
  • Monitor performance and provide insights and recommendations for improvement using tools such as HubSpot, Google Analytics, or platform-specific dashboards 

 

Industry engagement + thought partnership

  • Stay informed on trends across pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, diagnostics, medtech, regulatory policy, and patient engagement
  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to clients, offering recommendations backed by industry insight and marketing best practices
  • Participate in internal brainstorms and contribute to thought leadership and agency content when appropriate

Must-have qualifications

  • 7+ years of marketing experience, including at least 5 years working with life sciences companies (biotech, pharma, diagnostics, or medtech)
  • Strong grasp of the life sciences product lifecycle and key audiences including clinicians, researchers, scientists, and regulators
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in an agency or fast-paced environment
  • Excellent comm

Nice-to-have qualifications

  • 7+ years of marketing experience, including at least 5 years working with life sciences companies (biotech, pharma, diagnostics, or me
  • Experience with branding or rebranding in the life sciences space
  • Familiarity with services such as market research, scientific writing, digital campaign management, or trade show support
  • Comfort working with platforms like HubSpot, SEMrush, Canva, Sprout, and WordPress
  • Experience in managing junior team members or freelancers
