As a design-oriented, resourceful, and energetic Administrative Assistant for KNB Communications, you will assist in developing and executing digital marketing strategies for our healthcare and health technology prospects. You will also be responsible for lead-generating activities for KNB, and assist with our internship program (2-3 interns per term). 

KNB Communications is 100% remote. You can work from anywhere as long as you have dependable high-speed internet and are willing to keep east coast hours.

Roles + responsibilities

As the Marketing Administrative Assistant you will:

  • Create and design spectacular presentations in Google Slides.

  • Use stock photography and video in tandem with Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva to create stunning visuals.

  • Write creatively and strategically, long- and short-form.

  • Actively follow trends relative to social engagement in the industry and communicate them throughout the organization.

  • Innovate new tactics based on trends in the industry and audiences to quickly adjust based on results.

  • Stay up-to-date on best practices for social and digital, as well as the implementation of appropriate analytics tools (marketing automation and CRM) to facilitate analysis and metrics reporting.

  • Develop and share audience engagement metrics aimed at tracking the effectiveness of marketing tactics across platforms (Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics, etc.) and an ability to translate them into actionable steps

  • Develop and manage end-to-end, scalable social media campaigns.

  • Manage the KNB website, digital marketing, and lead gen efforts.

  • Research prospects and competitors; conduct industry research; work with partners to track coverage and disseminate it to the team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university preferred

  • 3+ years of related work experience required
    Active on all major social networks

  • Able to work independently as well as a member of the team

  • Project an extremely positive “can do” attitude and utilize sound judgment

  • Able to write creatively, in broad and narrow scopes, with an informative, engaging style

  • Exceptional communications skills - written, verbal and interpersonal

  • Able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously 

  • Amazing organizational skills

  • Quickly understand complex healthcare domains, competitive landscapes, and varied audiences

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to feedback

Must-have:

  • Confidence to present to prospective clients

  • Email marketing and the ability to create and design newsletters

  • Craft client messaging to tell a story. Develop and repurpose content to generate engagement.

  • Proficiency in MS Office suite (Outlook / Word / Excel / PowerPoint), Google Docs, spreadsheets models and analysis, social media tracking software

  • Creative graphics and design software (Adobe Photoshop, InDesign)

 

Nice to have:

  • Healthcare industry knowledge and / or previous roles with a healthcare-focused organization

  • Social media management, Google Analytics, SEO, and content generation

  • Websites management and page creation

  • Experience with search engine optimization practices

  • HubSpot certifications / HubSpot or marketing automation experience

  • Working knowledge of the Asana platform
