This month we would like to highlight our Executive Assistant, Gaby Hermes. Here are a few questions we asked her below:

Gaby Hermes

  1. Why did you decide to go into the healthcare industry?

    This industry has permanence and I wanted to be involved in an industry focused on the greater good. With the outbreak of the pandemic last year, the reach of the health industry became apparent as it encompasses everyone without exception. I wanted to be a long-term member of an organization that not only aligned with my values, but that provided a meaningful contribution to humanity. What better place than KNB Communications; an organization that specializes in the healthcare industry.

  2. What is the key to a successful business?

    Setting aside business models, financial planning, and specific products and services, the key to business success is in its people. Building a team with the right combination of talents, personalities, and skills will foster teamwork that will build success for the business.

  3. Who has influenced you most when it comes to how you approach your work?

    My dad was the epitome of perseverance and I credit him with my strong work ethic and moral compass. Guided by the core values of integrity, accountability, diligence, and discipline, my father taught me to do what is right, to the best of my ability, and then learn how to do it better the next time. Always keep learning and improving.

  4. What do you like most about working at KNB Communications?

    Working among award-winning professionals that are supportive, collaborative, and encouraging, is my favorite aspect about working at KNB. The leadership team is very knowledgeable and I'm enjoying learning their individual styles to better support each of them.

  5. What is your 15 minutes of fame?

    Being a career Executive Assistant, I am most comfortable behind the scenes and thrive in a support capacity, so these might be those 15-minutes.
