For this week’s #WeAreKNB series, Katherine Buhl and I interviewed one another. Katherine supports the KNB team as our Marketing and Communications Intern this fall. We are grateful for her hard work. Here are a few questions we asked her below:
- What drew you to KNB Communications?
I was drawn to KNB Communications by their inclusive culture. The team is extremely welcoming and this is something I value highly in a work environment. From my very first interview, I felt incredibly valued and this made me want to be a part of the KNB team.
- What has been your favorite part of your internship experience?
My favorite part about my internship experience has been being able to work closely with so many creative and intelligent people. I learn something new everyday and everyone is more than willing to offer help and guidance. The work environment is extremely collaborative and KNB does a great job of making everyone feel important and noticed.
- Why are you interested in healthcare marketing?
Healthcare is always advancing and changing so there’s never a dull moment. I also like being involved with work that impacts peoples’ lives everyday. Knowing that I could help people and make a difference is very motivating for me.
- What are your long-term goals?
My long-term goals include securing a job at a marketing agency as a market research analyst. I want to be doing work that I am passionate and excited about. I’d love to go back to school eventually and get my Bachelor of Business Administration, then hopefully work my way up into a management position.
- What is something the people you work with might not know about you?
I am very passionate about the outdoors and traveling. In the future I hope to travel as much as possible and maybe move to a different country for a couple years.
