#WeAreKNB Series: Liana Muaremi

Table of contents

The recurring #WeAreKNB segment gives you a closer look into who makes up the great healthcare minds behind the award-winning marketing and PR campaigns. This month, the interns interviewed each other. (Read Liana’s responses to my questions!)

The healthcare world changes, evolves, and develops. It has many sectors and angles, which is why it fascinates and drives us every day. Similar to the industry we all know and love, our team here at KNB is anything but one-dimensional. Wanna keep up? Sign up for our monthly KNBeat Newsletter here!

Liana Muaremi supports the KNB team as our Marketing and Communications Intern this Spring. We are grateful for her hard work and decided to highlight her this month. Here are a few questions we asked her below:

  1. What drew you to healthcare marketing?

In general, my main focus in life is to help as many people as I can. Healthcare is the perfect field in this aspect. When it comes to marketing, educating people on healthcare and giving them the most personalized experience is the best way of helping them. Knowledge is power, and no one can take that away from you.
  2. What do you like most about your internship with KNB?

My internship at KNB has been very helpful in gaining knowledge about the marketing side of healthcare. Everyone on the team is very influential, and they have been very welcoming. Since I am new to marketing, I have no doubt that with the education and resources the team has given me I will have a stronger understanding of healthcare marketing.
  3. What is your dream job?

My dream job is to eventually be the President of a hospital. As you know, I prioritize helping people. As a healthcare administrator, I won’t be helping patients directly, but I will be supporting and leading the people that are. I thrive in environments where I can plan, lead, and develop. Therefore, my interest in healthcare and administration lead me to the dream job of becoming President of a hospital.
  4. What excites you most about entering the workforce?

Since I’ve been in school all my life, I can’t wait to enter the workforce. I am most excited about the opportunity to gain experience and knowledge in areas I am unfamiliar with. The relationships I form on the way are a great bonus. I am currently on track to receive my Bachelor of Science in Psychology in the summer of 2022. I have started applying to multiple universities for a Master of Science in Healthcare administration for the fall of 2022. While pursuing my M.S. degree, I plan on working full time to gain healthcare administration experience. I’m an overachiever which benefits me in the greatest ways. Working full time and being a full-time graduate student will allow me to get ahead in experience and prevent wasted time.
  5. What is something the KNB team might not know about you?

One of my all time favorite genre of music would be 1950’s-60’s pop/jazz. Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin are two of my favorite artists. I have many of their records on vinyl. My favorite song to listen to on my record player is “The Way You Look Tonight” by Frank Sinatra. My old soul comes out when I hear that song.
