The healthcare world changes, evolves, and develops. It has many sectors and angles, which is why it fascinates and drives us every day. Similar to the industry we all know and love, our team here at KNB is anything but one-dimensional.

Our monthly segment called #WeAreKNB gives you a closer look into who we are and allows you to take a look at the faces behind the hard work of KNB Communications. A variety of different perspectives is an asset that we value, and we are excited to show you who we are and why we love what we do. We are individuals, we are a team, #WeAreKNB. Wanna keep up? Lily Tofel supports the KNB team as our Communications Intern. We are grateful for her hard work and decided to highlight her this month. Here are a few questions we asked her below:

  1. What has drawn you to the world of healthcare communications?

I’ve always been interested in healthcare technology and how it can connect people. Growing up, I watched my dad work at medical device companies which sparked my interest in healthcare. In school, I enjoyed researching and writing which led me to pursue a major in marketing.

  2. What do you like most about the culture at KNB Communications?

At KNB Communications, there is value in having a tight-knit community. Even though I am not physically in the office, I still feel very involved and included. Everyone at KNB is goal-oriented and always working towards success which I find to be very motivating.

  3. How do you see health tech changing in 2020?

Post-pandemic, I envision the developments of new innovations in health tech with the focus of preventing the spread of viruses and increasing sanitation efforts. Additionally, I think new technologies will hit the market for consumers such as at-home virus testing kits.

  4. What is your favorite social media platform and why?

My favorite social media platform is Instagram because it is a resource for many different topics for me. Not only is Instagram a source of news, but it also has a huge vault of other information. In my free time I like to exercise, and through Instagram, I’ve learned a lot about fitness. Plus, Instagram shows other accounts I may be interested in based on my activity, which I find helpful.

  5. What’s a fun fact about you? Any hidden talents?

A fun fact about me is that I love taking pictures. The camera roll on my phone has an endless amount of photos on it.
