The "We are KNB" series gives you a peek behind the curtain to understand what makes our band of healthcare communications experts tick. We ask them about their motivations and goals as well as some personal questions.

This month we would like to highlight our Digital Marketing Strategist Sandy Gutierrez. Here are a few questions we asked her below:

  1. What drew you to healthcare marketing?

    As soon as I graduated from college I knew I wanted to make an impact in the healthcare and wellness industry. My goal is to influence the next generation of marketing professionals and make a difference in people's lives.

  2. What is your proudest accomplishment?

    My proudest accomplishment to date is working for a non-profit and helping empower teens from economically disadvantaged circumstances to apply for higher education and scholarships. Seeing my students getting accepted to their dream college, graduating high school, and winning scholarships was truly an amazing heart warming feeling.

  3. What is something you have learned in your current role at KNB?

    Without being too cliche, I learn something new everyday being on the KNB team. Our work culture is incredible here. Everyone is always working as a team, collaborating and being very supportive of one another. I am fortunate to wake up every morning to work for such an amazing company and have such an incredible mentor as a boss.

  4. What's the best advice you've ever received?

    The best advice I have ever received is to know what you want, and do not stop until you achieve it. It’s your happiness at the end of the day. It is easy to get lost in worklife and get caught up in the moment, but never lose sight of your dreams and goals.

  5. What's your favorite TV Show?

    I can watch The Office and Schitt's Creek a million times and never get tired of it.

Tiffanie Smith

Education: B.A. in Journalism with a concentration in Public Relations and a minor in Marketing from Georgia State University; Digital Marketing Certification from University of South Florida. Professional background: Tiffanie has five years of experience as a marketing professional. Her specific niche is in digital marketing, project management and social media. Tiffanie is responsible for all internal and external marketing initiatives for KNB Communications. She also runs the award-winning intern program. Expertise: Digital marketing, social media and project management. Jeopardy Fact: Tiffanie is very passionate about blogging and writing on personal topics to motivate individuals to succeed in their every day lives. She also loves nature and traveling, and she is a big time movie goer.
