How do you feel that your years of PR experience have contributed to your work at KNB Communications?
I had been leading PR programs for national and international business-to-business companies in a variety of industries prior to joining KNB Communications. Additionally, I had been doing both publicity and internal communications work for a local hospital. Exposure to both healthcare and B2B environment put me in a great position to take on specialty health tech clients at KNB!
What is your favorite summertime hobby?
Walking on the beach.
What do you think is the most integral ingredient in an amazing PR campaign?
I would not call out any one ingredient; rather, it is a combination of the client industry knowledge, PR/communications expertise, and building trust with all stakeholders to reach a certain communications goal. All good communications programs are goal, market and product dependent.
What is your favorite part about the culture at KNB Communications?
We have amazingly knowledgeable people and enjoy an open and collaborative environment. We are very professional in what we do but also have fun doing it, such as brainstorming a challenge on a walk instead of at the desk.
How does working in the healthcare/health tech industry excite you the most?
Technology is changing the way healthcare is delivered, and the speed of change is accelerating. It’s still slower than in other industries because healthcare is so highly regulated, but organizations are trying different tech-enabled approaches and seeing positive results. It’s exciting to see when these positive improvements impact patients.
Where is the most amazing place you have traveled to and why?
Vienna. The best pastries and coffee.
